Several of our teams had a succesful weekend highlighted by the U15 Girls winning their bracket of the MAPS Cup.

Over the past two weekends our u 14 boys have finished off a very impressive regular season in both the top EDP flight and the ASL finishing in second place in both and qualifying for the playoffs and possible national championships in both. On the way they have pulled off wins against the 3rd, 4th, 5th ranked teams in PA as well as the top ranked team in Delaware . The team now moves on to a semi final game in the US Club Soccer National Premier Leagues tournament , with a chance to reach nationals in Colorado in July. At the same time they finished 2nd out of 14 teams in the ASL also qualifying for nationals in North Carolina. These are great achievements for the players , the team and the club and we wish them the best in the playoffs

The SJEB First Touch Soccer Program is the “First Touch Program” which includes the U5, U6, U7 age groups in the SJ Elite Barons Soccer Club. The First Touch Program was created to offer the young players in our club an age appropriate environment where they have the opportunity to learn and develop as a player. SJEB U13-U18 Boys and Girls teams play in the EDP League which is a member of the National Premier Leagues (www.nationalpremierleagues.com) NPL is a Nationwide network of the regions top leagues. The winner of each league attend the NPL Champions Cup, where national championships are awarded. The NPL Champions Cup features qualifiers from every NPL across the country in a true “champions league” competition. This is the top level of League soccer outside of U.S. Soccer Academy system. Any player looking to play at the next level email the coach of your age group to arrange an evaluation. 

Another season, another Winner. Congratulations to Bill Heins (Former SJEB player Ryan Hiens, now a pro at Richmond Kickers, Dad) who won Battle of the Barons 8. In Second place was SJEB Coach Joe Banks, tactical genius or too much time on his hands? In Third place Terell White (former SJEB Alum, studying at University of Chicago). In Forth place last years Champion John Thompson, a poor year for the self confesed Mourinho of Fantasy Football. In Fifth place James Clark, the AC Press man had another strong year, but his love for West Ham clouded his judgement and cost him top spot. The only current SJEB player to crack the top 10 was Hunter Swanson, on the SJEB U14 Boys, well done. SJEB are pleased to announce our U7, U8 U9, U10 Boys & U7, U8, U9 Girls supplemental development team for the more serious soccer players in the South Jersey region. We card players using US Club Soccer so they can play with their township clubs in SJSL. The program is for the talented play who wants additional training, games with like minded soccer minds. The program will start in August of each calendar year, and commitment is for one year.

South Jerseys #1 Ranked club will be holding tryouts between April & June. We will field teams at Two locations for the U9 - U12 Boys & Girls age groups.

- SJEB ’East’ teams will train and play out of Tuckahoe Turf Farm, Hammonton.
