West Windsor, NJ - The South Jersey Elite Barons U11 Girls were crowned US Club New Jersey State Cup Champions on Sunday, May 13th in Mercer County. The championship event was played at Mercer County Park and featured both the semi-finals and finals for the team.  In the semi-finals they defeated the Americans Soccer Club (Upper Saddle River, NJ) 3-2 on penalty kicks. The championship game, SJEB played an excellent defensive game shutting out Mount Olive Soccer Club coming out on top 2-0 for the final.  En route to the semi-finals the girls defeated teams from Medford & Jackson to earn a spot in the championship weekend.

The EDP has agreed to become a participant in the US Club Soccer National Premier Leagues (NPL) which is a growing group of leagues throughout the country that play under the US Club Soccer affiliation. NPL has been developed to provide a format and structure that is in sync with the wishes of US Soccer Federations best practices and provides a platform that makes EDP and NPL the best option for non developmental academy clubs and provides a vehicle to compete with all competitive levels of soccer in the US. This affiliation will include both boys and girls opportunities with the Boys starting this spring and the girls to follow in the Fall.

We wanted to announce that SJEB is offering another exclusive club apparel fundraiser this spring. There is a variety of quality items for players and their families to purchase and many are different than the fall selection. Each team will receive part of the profits for each item you or your family and friends purchase. There will be a place on each downloaded order form to note the team name to be credited for the purchase. 

The South Jersey Elite Barons have started a Scholarship Fund, to raise money for the fund SJEB will be raffeling off Two Philadlephia Union tickets for every home game this season. The draw for each set of tickets will be made the Monday prior to the game. Tickets are $5 or 5 for $20. Each team will recieve a package with tickets to sell. More

We will be holding an 8 week Training Program on Friday nights during the spring for Boys in the U11, U12, & U13 age groups, click for further information.

In addition to the already established 99 Boys team SJEB will be fielding a rsing U12 Boys team based out of our 'The Farm' complex for the upcoming Fall 2012 season. Training and games will take place at 'The Farm'. Tryouts dates are now up on the club website and will also be conducted at 'The Farm'. Players interested can register now and contact the Head Coach and SJEB Boys Technical Director Scott Middlemass at smiddlemass@sjbarons.com
