What is the Youth Development Program (YDP)?
The Youth Development Program (YDP) is a training program that provides professional instruction 2 times per week to players who want to learn proper techniques and fundamentals at an early age. Our YDP offers three levels, for children ranging from ages 4 through 9. This program is staffed with professionals providing the highest level of instruction in a fun yet structured environment for a low cost. Our YDP will not field travel teams for competition but will focus strictly on skills training and small-sided play.
The YDP welcomes players who are playing travel for their township club program or SJEB who want to get more advanced training during the spring and fall seasons.
South Jersey Elite Barons will be offering the Youth Development Program at two separate locations Winslow (Tuckahoe Turf Farms) and Mantua Townships (Chestnut Branch Park).
The YDP will be directed by Scott Middlemass and John Thompson and staffed with all SJEB coaches to keep the quality of teaching at the highest standard.
There are three levels of our Youth Development Program Gold Level (8-9 year olds), Silver Level (6-7 year olds) and Bronze Level (4-5 year olds). Visit the links on the left for details of each level.
When does it start?
The YDP will start the week of September 13th, 2010.
How much is the program?
Gold: $175 per season (i.e. Fall Season).
Silver: $175 per season.
Bronze: $150 per season.
