The SJEB U15 Girls ended the fall season with a trip to the MSSL/MAPS Winter Classic tournament in Philadelphia, PA. The team battled the cold, the wind, and very bumpy fields. The girls started off well winning 4-1 against Hamilton Twp. Rage and 2-1 to NJSA 04 Strikers. On Sunday the girls drew 2-2 with SJ United FC Comets, which was disappointing as the girls missed a number of point blank chances. With a victory needed in the final game to secure the Championship, the girls beat West Chester United SC Predators ’95 2-0. The girls battled hard to find the back of the net while playing tough team defense to take home the Championship.
